Life in Color
Thoughts on Russia, day 3

Snow

high heels

buses that smell like gasoline inside

Ludastick

making a diaper cake

strangely dressed people

not sleeping/eating well

still can’t get used to 2-3 digit prices, keep thinking it’s in dollars

everything is expensive

random thoughts after one day in Russia

picture perfect snow covered fir trees

men in pointed toe shoes

2 & 3 digit prices in grocery stores

hardly any personal space

I forgot how loud my family was - and how they all talk at the same time

feeling dizzy

sleeping without Shon is BAD

hate hate hate Aeroflot

P.S. It sounds kinda bad, but my family is a little too much for me. I have to take little breaks every now and then, and escape to spend several minutes alone.

Things to look forward to on my Russian trip

1. Seeing my family and friends

2. Hosting a baby shower for my little sister

3. White Christmas

4. Smoked salmon, marinated mushrooms, mom’s pies, Redd’s beer

5. Lots of singing

6. A photoshoot with my cousin

7. Practicing my Russian

8. Doing a video interview with Grammy

9. Ice-skating!!

10. My old books

11. European style hot chocolate - the kind you eat rather than drink

12. Meeting friends’ spouses and babies

To be continued…

P.S. I have a list of things I don’t look forward to, but I’m trying hard not to dwell on it.
